Who’s behind SafHavn.
SafHavn is written by Donnie Lane, senior pastor of Citychurch and executive director of Citykid Outreach in Amarillo, Texas. Two decades leading small teams with big missions taught him most of what fills these pages.
He also mentors founders and business owners. The questions they bring about work, responsibility, and faith help shape SafHavn. Their names and private details stay out of these pages.
SafHavn is for leaders of small businesses and nonprofits — people carrying more than their title suggests, looking for a steady word before the day gets loud.
Who it’s for
Anyone leading something that matters, with a team small enough that every person counts. Free readers get essays, practical notes, and reflections. Members get the Thursday Deep Dive, the full archive, tools inside Member posts, and a quiet community of other leaders. The Advisory Circle brings a small group together with Donnie each month; join its waitlist on the membership page.
The faith behind it
Donnie writes from his Christian faith. Each piece starts with a real problem a leader faces. Faith and Scripture offer light and hope, with room for honest questions. You do not have to share his faith to find something useful here. You are welcome either way.
